The first floor's rough limestone veneer is punctuated by the semi-circular arches of the end porch and front door and supports the extended western roofline with a ground-level parapet. The black and white contrast of the vergeboards and wood trim with the stucco cladding of the second story recalls half-timber construction, typically found in the Eli zabethan period. A faux Tudor stucco fireplace and curved profile molding along the walls does enhance the romantic environment of the living room and master bedroom above. Note that a massive chimney with ceramic chimney pots, a typical Tudor feature, does not grace the building's exterior profile. The interior has been substantially renovated.
